MWSM at API Community Town Hall. February 18, 2012

What is this? 

The Asian Pacific Town Hall will consist of a presentation of 2010 Census information related to
Asian Pacific Minnesotans, a panel discussion of the data including gaps and its impact in API
Communities, and an open forum with state legislative officials.

Bao Vang, President/CEO of HAP, stated “This election year is crucial for all Minnesotans. Due
to redistricting, every single state legislator will be up for re-election and there are a number of
constitutional amendments proposed for inclusion on the upcoming election ballot. As partners
in this event, we hope this gives Asian Pacific Minnesotans an opportunity to voice their
opinions, concerns, and issues with attending legislative officials.”

All community members interested in the event are welcomed to attend. Light breakfast and
refreshments will be provided.
